Staying healthy during the holidays can be a daunting task with all the temptations that come along this time of year.  Here are some helpful hints to help you navigate this most tempting of times:

  • Watch what you drink; holiday drinks such as egg nog and alcoholic beverages are filled with fats and sugars.
  • Get enough fruits and vegetables; filling up on healthy snacks can curb your enthusiasm for the holiday cookies.
  • Focus on the socializing; focus on making conversations rather that standing around the food table.
  • Don’t forget to exercise; make sure you take time to burn off the extra calories.
